Welcome To Wroxham
Quit smoking missionaries, Riot Labs, have jumped onto the Wrexham AFC Hollywood success story by sponsoring the lowly Norfolk Isthmian league Wroxham FC to share their story of how they missed out on star-studded investment by just ‘one letter’. Wroxham FC, the non-league football club who claim they missed out on celebrity owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney by just ONE letter, have gone viral after a staggered release of their 3-part documentary sharing their unique story.
Shocking Tory FOI Findings
New Freedom of Information (FOI) data reveals shocking lack of investment in stop smoking campaigns under the previous Conservative government, according to the UK Vaping Industry Association (UKVIA). The current Labour Government has been called upon to prioritise public education on smoking and vaping, to address the years of serial Tory underfunding.
Why Does Parents Against Vaping E-Cigarettes (PAVE) Have to Lie in Order to Scare Parents?
Michael Siegel, The Rest Of The Story
If I seriously thought that one-fourth of today’s youth were vaping e-cigarettes daily, I would be quite alarmed. Daily use suggests possible addiction and so if 25% of all youth were vaping daily, we would be talking about 6.25 million middle-school and high-school students who are vaping every day. Moreover, the overwhelming majority of every day youth e-cigarette users are not just vaping nicotine, but they are also using THC vapes, mostly off the black market. So if this statistic were true, it would drastically change my assessment of the relative benefits of electronic cigarettes for adult smoking cessation compared to the risks for youth vaping and addiction.

In a commentary published in JAMA, experts at the Rutgers Institute for Nicotine & Tobacco Studies have issued a call to action to head off the proliferation of nicotine pouches based on lessons learned from electronic-cigarette regulation.
Authors Cristine Delnevo, director of the institute, and Mary Hrywna, associate professor, argue the U.S. Food and Drug Administration should act swiftly now to exercise its regulatory authority – both by granting marketing orders for nicotine pouch products that meet its standards and penalizing those who violate the law – to prevent the newest segment of the market from mutating as uncontrollably as e-cigarettes did.

New Zealand’s tobacco endgame U-turn –
A reversal or an advance? – Clive Bates, The Counterfactual
New Zealand’s incoming coalition government says it will reverse tobacco ‘endgame’ legislation. That will allow New Zealand to pursue better policies based on consent rather than coercion. It is an advance, not a reversal.
